Welcome to Open Source Battlefield. This site has begun out of a geek's desire to write some handy programs to make some painful tasks far more simple. My name is Stuart Ryan and I have been working as an IT Professional ever since a month after I left high school. I am a geek, a blogger and a photographer and if you are interested in learning more about me you can check out my site at [http://stuartryan.com] .
I have several projects that I have worked on over the years (some of which have not been updated in quite some time) which I wanted to revive and open up the source code so that if people desired they could make changes and contribute to the code and also put into place a system which would allow some project management and bug tracking of the projects I am working on now and into the future.
Therefore I have put together this site using the Atlassian suite of products including this Wiki as well as the [JIRA Project Management and Bug Tracking|http://jira.opensourcebattlefield.com] software that anyone can register on and submit (and if they desire) and develop on the programs I have written.
This wiki is broken up into Spaces. The Open Source Battlefield space is for the main content of the site, there is also the Open Source Documentation Project space (which is a little pet project of mine that I am putting together) and finally the spaces for each of the projects that are under development.
As a general rule each of the projects in the JIRA Bug Tracking Application will have a corresponding place here in the Wiki however a project that is under inception may not have a presence in the JIRA application until a later stage.
